Established in 1980, The Belmont Athletic Club is a full-service fitness facility located in Long Beach, Calif. The building was remodeled from a classic 1927 theater into a multilevel, open beam 25,000-square-foot health club. The facility features racquetball, basketball, free weights, Paramount circuit training equipment, a cardio theater, group exercise classes, child care, a Pro Shop, deep tissue Swedish massage and Murphy’s pub. The club offers a variety of classes that include muscle conditioning and sculpting, power walking, Pilates essential mat classes, beginner and intermediate Yoga, outdoor fun run, circuit training, box aerobics, double step, dance conditioning and stretching sessions.
